Encouraging positive messages. Promoting wellness.
The mission of TAG is to improve the
well-being and quality of life of those
affected by behavioral and mental
health issues, by reducing preconceived
notions and stigma through community
and individual education and advocacy.
The goal of the Think Again! Group is
to decrease the stigma surrounding mental and behavioral health. Using billboards, posters, and articles and ads in local newspapers, the grassroots campaign aims to educate the public about the prevalence of mental illness and to highlight the progress being made in diagnosis, treatment, and recovery for people with mental health needs.
In addition to the public campaign, TAG supports local mental health service providers through continuing education programs. The organization also works to create original programming and resources for local youth and educators, such as the 1, 2, 3...Then Me! film project and sponsoring the May is Mental Health Month Walk.
