DUSTIN: Life gets busy, but I am still smoke free! Its been since 6-12-17 and I am feeling better and better as the days add up. I feel I was blogging more when I was in need of help and motivation.
Lately its been more about changing my eating habits, and I just recently started altering my training routine. My cardio still sucks, but is improving. I don't expect results too quickly after 17 years of daily nicotine abuse. I am still chewing nicotine gum: one piece sometime in the AM and one piece sometime in the PM. It does help, and I am not smoking. That's what matters to me, as we all have our different stories.
It's hard when I am stressed not to smoke. I always remind myself of why I quit in the first place, and ask myself what one cigarette will do for me. I also don't want to lose this competition I am now in with friends who quit right before, and after me ( we always find those close to the same situation if we search enough).
