Are you new to bicycling, or are you looking to
refresh your skills for the upcoming biking
season? Whether you ride for leisure or your
work commute, join us to increase your
knowledge and skills for a ride on two wheels.
This will be a FREE one hour class for adults that will go over the principles of safe biking behaviors.
• Getting ready to ride (safety)
• Bicycle handling skills (maintenance)
• Rules of the road (defensive riding)
• On-the-road skills (25-minute tour around town)
Traffic-related crashes are the result of behaviors of both bicyclists and motorists. Practicing safe biking behaviors will decrease riding risks and save lives! Participants must bring: bicycle & helmet (adult helmet fitting will take place for those without).
