What Is Nourish NY?
Nourish NY is a grant awarded to Seven Valleys Health Coalition from the NYS Department of Agriculture & Markets. It allows us to purchase food grown in New York State, which we then distribute alongside food rescued through Seven Valleys Food Rescue.
Thanks to Nourish NY, we’ve purchased a wide variety of NY-grown food including:
Fresh seasonal vegetables
Meat
Cheese
Eggs
Milk
We also support NYS producers through the purchase of value-added products like:
Sauerkraut
Raviolis
Tofu
Yogurt
And more!
