Karen has taught these workshops in a variety of settings including community meetings, schools and with private employers.

Karen's couneling practice subscribes to a strengths-based perspective to assist clients in being their best selves. These techniques include mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-informed practice, supportive therapies, and family systems.

The Adolescent Brain: A How-To Guide for Parents & Teachers is sponsored with generous financial support from Care Compass Network.

The Homer Central School District and Cortland City School District are providing space for these workshops and assisting with advertisement. We appreciate their partnership and hard work in helping us to make this vision a reality!
