Alcohol Server Training (Training for Intervention Procedures - TIPS)
Training for Intervention Procedures (TIPS) is a program for professional servers of alcohol. TIPS teaches servers a practical, common sense approach to serving alcohol responsibly. Servers are shown how to recognize signs of intoxication, to prevent alcohol sales to minors, and how to intervene with patrons who are already intoxicated. The goal is to teach alcohol servers how to create a climate of responsible drinking and to stop intoxicated people from driving.
Offered upon request (minimum of 6 students required). Free to alcohol servers in Cortland County (others, $50).
