Cortland Chenango Rural Services

Networking

Many agencies have used the Rural Services buildings to deliver services. Rural Services provides program space for income tax assistance, food stamp pre-screening and information, support groups, tutoring, and community meetings. It works with agencies in both counties (e.g. food pantries, public health nurses, Departments of Social Service, Red Cross, Cooperative Extension, Agencies on Aging, etc.) to both extend their service into the rural area, and provide needed programs for area residents.
