Therapies, Special Education, and Social Work Services
Children with special needs under the age of 5 are eligible for services through Early Intervention and Preschool Special Education programs. The Centers' speech, physical, and occupational therapists, special education teachers, and social workers are engaged with children and families in their homes and in community settings such as in day-care centers, Head Start programs, and our classrooms.
Franziska Racker Centers provides speech, occupational, and physical therapies as well as special education and social work services to school-age children in partnership with local school districts and BOCES. Our staff becomes a part of the public education system.
