Description of Services:
The Mental Health Association is a chapter of the MHA New York State and an affiliate of the National MHA. They are also the local chapter of the Alliance for the Mentally Ill and NAMI New York State.
Services provided:
- ADHD Family Support
- Reach: Family Support
- Reach-Basics: Series of twelve lectures annually on or about mental health issues
- Mental Health Library: Including books, videos pamplets and journals
- Self-Help Library: Books, videos, etc for use by persons identified as having a mental disorder
- Three Newsletters: Providing up-to-date information on the causes and treatments of mental illness
