Description of Services:

Free career training for 16-24 year olds. U.S. Dept. of Labor program includes up to two years career training & education, housing, meals and other services. No cost to eligible students. Students can receive training in automotive, health occupations, culinary, construction and other trades. Both high school graduates and non-graduates may apply. If needed, a student can receive a high school diploma or GED while training for a career at Job Corps. Interested students should call our office at (315) 478-5529 to see if they are eligible and to get information on Orientations in their area. The Syracuse office serves the following counties: Cayuga, Cortland, Hamilton, Hekimer, Jefferson, Lewis, Madison, Oneida, Onondaga, Oswego, St. Lawrence and Tompkins.
