OUR VISION: Healthy People in a Healthy Community
The Cortland County Health Department is committed to promoting health, preventing disease or injury, and enhancing the quality of life within our community.
An eight-member Board of Health and the Cortland County Health Department work together to address community health needs throughout the County. Services are frequently carried out in collaboration with Community Partners. The Department as a whole is involved in activities such as Community Health Assessment, Communicable Disease Surveillance and Control, and Health Emergency Preparedness.
