Jacobus Center for Reproductive Health (JCRH) offers a variety of reproductive health care services to women, men, and teens. Our high quality services are confidential and provided on a sliding fee scale.
Each visit includes the opportunity to discuss your birth control choices and other health related concerns. Trained staff will teach you how to use the contraceptive method of your choice.
Day or evening appointments are available at the Jacobus Center, located on the first floor, Room 115, of the County Office Building, 60 Central Avenue in Cortland. There is also a clinic on the SUNY Cortland campus when the college is in session. The Jacobus Center is a Safe Space for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender (GLBT) youths and adults.
Services include:
- Contraceptive care (birth control) including the pill, Depo Provera, Ortho Evra patch, diaphragm, male and female condoms, IUD, and spermicides
- Gynecological exams: breast & pelvic exams, pap smears
- Pregnancy testing/options counseling
- Diagnosis and treatment of sexually transmitted diseases (STD's)
- Confidential HIV counseling/testing

- Fertility awareness
- Teen Tuesday- a clinic just for teens
- Hepatitis B vaccination series for current patients
- Emergency contraception
