The Cortland County Mental Health Clinic provides a wide range of mental health services. These include:
- Individual Psychotherapy for all ages
- Family Therapy
- Play Therapy
- Psychiatric, Psychological and Psychosocial
Evaluations - Mobile Mental Health Crisis Consultation
- Community Consultation and Education
- Specialized Treatment Groups, such as:
- Domestic violence
- Adults with depression
- Parenting Support Group
- Nurtured Heart Group
- Sexual Offenders Group
- Wellness Group
- Parental Cognitive Aggression Reduction Group
- Behavioral Skills Group
Their goal is to assist individuals with mental health issues to become more functional in emotional, cognitive, social, vocational, educational and/or self-care areas. Licensed by the New York State Office of Mental Health as an outpatient treatment clinic, confidential services are provided on site at 7 Clayton Avenue or, when appropriate, in community settings such as schools or homes of clients.
Offered M-F 9 am - 5 pm, and flexible evening hours
The Mental Health Clinic accepts Medicaid, Medicare and other forms of insurance. A sliding fee scale is used to establish co-pay and self-pay fees. No one is denied services because of an inability to pay.
