Adoption Services

Children at risk and children with special needs are available for adoption by kind, patient, understanding and supportive adults. Catholic Charities provides support and guidance through the entire process:

We will walk you through the early, middle, and concluding stages of an adoption to give you an idea of what will be required.

We will be available by phone, home visit, or office visit during the process.

We will answer your questions, or will refer you to the proper resource that would be more helpful to you in answering your questions.

We will provide you with guidance, if you desire, on the child who may be best suited to your particular home environment at this time.

We will give you all the time you need to make this important decision.

An average adoption takes about nine months to a year from start to finish.
