CAPCO Energy Services Program

The goal of Energy Services is to make homes more energy efficient, help reduce energy costs, and make the home a healthy and safe place to live. We accomplish this by insulating floors, walls, and attics; repair and replace heating systems and water tanks; test efficiency of refrigerators; install carbon monoxide and smoke detectors, along with minor repairs. This service is free to income eligible homeowners, with no liens or obligations on the part of the owner. Rental units require a contribution from the landlord.

RADON - Through the Energy Services Program, radon mitigation systems are installed free to income eligible homeowners. NEHA Certified.

Coordinated efforts with the NYSEG Power Partner Program and the Niagara Mohawk Afford Ability Program are also available through the Energy Services Program. These programs help families reduce high electric consumption through the use of energy efficient light bulbs, and replacement of inefficient refrigerators, waterbed mattresses, and water heaters.
