Cortland County Area Agency on Aging
Spring Cleanup Assistance
The Cortland Rotary Breakfast Club, in partnership with the Area Agency on Aging, wants to help homeowners with spring clean-up chores. As part of their commitment to the community, the Rotarians will designate an evening or a Saturday, from late April to early June depending on the weather, to volunteer to perform tasks such as: rake lawns, prune shrubs, take down storm windows, clean gutters and other manageable tasks.
Projects will be done on a first come first served basis, and as many requests will be honored as possible. If you are interested, call the Area Agency on Aging at 753-5060 to request a form to return with the type of work requested. Forms are available in early March, and must be submitted by April 1 (2005) to be considered. Offered an evening or a Saturday, from late April to early June depending on the weather.
