Description of Services

Head Start is a federally funded program for eligible preschool children (ages 3-4) and their families. Its purpose is to enhance the development of each child participating in the program through pre-school education encouraging family participation. This is accomplished through a variety of experiences and activities in a home-based or center-based setting. This approach leads the child to a positive transition to public school.
