Description of Services

CAPCO is a non-profit human service agency dedicated to meeting the needs of the disadvantaged located throughout Cortland County through the following programs:

CAPCO Energy Services Program

The CAPCO Energy Services Department utilizes a staff of highly trained individuals to install energy saving measures for income eligible households. We strive to make your home more affordable by using Weatherization techniques to conserve energy.

 

CAPCO Head Start Program

CAPCO Head Start is a comprehensive, child development preschool program which assists age and income eligible children and their families. Head Start operates two program options, center based and home based. Further services available to the children and their families include health, disabilities, and family services.

 

CAPCO WIC Program

The CAPCO WIC Program provides healthy foods, nutrition counseling and referrals in order to ensure the best possible health, growth and development of low-income women, infants, and children.

 

CAPCO Consumer Directed Personal Assistance

The CAPCO CDPAP Program allows Medicaid eligible individuals with a disability the opportunity to live in the community as independently as possible, free of the constraints that would otherwise be imposed upon them by a more formal health care environment.
